“I used Smile Doctors for a small adjustment for myself and a full treatment for my younger son. The experience was much more convenient than my older son’s Invisalign experience with the orthodontist affiliated with our regular dentist. My criticism is that I don’t think they do a good job with retainers. They tell you you can switch to nights only immediately after completing treatment, which is not good for most people — your teeth need time to settle, otherwise they’ll be moving back and forth each day, resulting in loose teeth. Also, they charge way too much for replacement retainers, and their retainer insurance policy isn’t well thought out, in my opinion. I’ll use a different company for retainers.”
